Subject: Auto Fill on Propane Tank Goes "clank clank clank"?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

..... and the wheels go 'round and 'round. <grin>

Hi all.

I'm just about certain it's not an issue but...

I had a new LP tank installed. Old tank was a manual fill. Hadn't heard this before.

New tank filled to 2/3. Some fuel has been used by fridge over last few days. Tonight, when I stepping out of my Westy, I heard this "clank clank clank etc." sound. If I rock my Westy, I hear it. I'm assuming it's the float on the autofill mechanism.

Could that be the cause of the noise? Is this normal? Say when tank 1/2 full?

Anyone else heard this noise?

I assume tank still has some air in it (new tank). Maybe this causes float to "clank"?

Thanks!

Neil.
