not to make too fine a point of it but toyota is doing more or less the same as gm and a lot worse than ford. here are year to date sales change for 2009 till the end of june:

General Motors Corp. -33.2 Ford Motor Company -11.2 Chrysler LLC -41.9

Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc. -31.9 American Honda Motor Co Inc. -35.5 Nissan North America Inc. -33.4

so chrysler is doing the worst with toyota, honda, nissan and gm all about the same as next-to-the-worst and ford doing by far the best. (for the major sellers in the us of a).
