late one night in Lone Pine....... I just turned west from downtown ..... drove a few miles up ..............drove a few hundred feet off the road by some huge boulders. Spent the night ok in my van.

there's a tiny hot spring called Willy's I think...... it's east of 295, and a few miles south of the turn off to Hot Creek and the local small airport. Maybe 5 miles south of there........... I remember something about 'third cattle crossing' ..........then take small dirt track a couple miles south to small springs in open country.

also ....south of Bridgeport, or on the south part of town, on the east of 295, uphill to the east, in a starting out near homes ........ Travertine hot springs .......last time I was there it was amazingly nice. it's like 1./3 of a mile from 395.

also, Badger hot springs I think..........north of Bridgeport about 8 mils, take forest road straight west about 8 miles.... somewhere in there is a parking area, with a hot springs next to the creek down about a 40 foot embankment.

that help ? it's a fabulous area ! Scott
