Okay, I finally got three 1mm shims over the bottom static (non-moveable) open v-shaped, slotted piece that the brake shoes fit into. However, I'm not sure how 3mm will make a difference there. The shims don't even come up to the notch. I envision installing shims to make the notch slightly less deep, so that the brakes will make better contact on the bottoms. But I'm not sure what's going on here. Anyone have any pics? Thanks, Warren in Santa Fe |
