Others have changed the fiberglass inside to fancier stuff. My only observation, with a Vitri installed, but the original fiberglass still there, is that with an infrared thermometer I can't see any difference anywhere on the inside walls, which lead me to think the insulation doesn't make much difference. But several different reports from "people who know" indicate that replacing the city water intake with a muffin fan to exhaust heat from behind the fridge makes a very big difference.
