John, this is not really a problem as we can get the one piece cable and you replace both the upper and lower cable with this by bypassing the oxygen sensor light box. This box does nothing except count off 60k miles and turn a light on to tell you that the expected lifespan of your oxygen sensor has been reached. It doesn't mean anything beyond that or do anything beyond that. So going to the one piece cable is the way to go. It seems like these are going to continue to be available for the future as well.
