Sorry Warren, not an excuse. 2' breaker bar and a 150# weight = 300 ft lbs. 18" breaker bar and a 200# weight (gee, where could I find 200# of weight????) = 300 ft. lbs. 6' cheater and 50# = 300 ft lbs. (stand on scale. Lift on cheater. You weight increases 50#. 300 ft. lbs. Torque wrench just makes it more convenient.
