you could try unplugging the 02 sensor to take that out of the picture. I like to have a fuel pressure gauge on them during the trouble shooting process, just to be sure that's there, plus it checks the fuel pressure regulator function.

ignition switches are quite popular for a fix for all kinds of things. Naturally...... a good thorough visual inspection is the first step. that's a good question ........ did it just 'shut off' ........like a 'clean stop' ..........or did it stumble and loose rpm then die ?
