Subject: Re: Power Window Switch All of Sudden Dead? 88 Wolfy

Robert

Start by making sure you have power to the switch with key on. I just did a bunch of work on my suddenly non functioning power window. Turns out the motor had become dirty and gunked up.Maybe some water getting in. I could hear the clicking at the motor when I pushed the window button so I knew power was getting through. I took it apart and cleaned it and lubed it and it works fine now. It's very tight in there but not hard to do. Good luck. Merv.
