yes,the pump bracket comes right off the right head with 3 bolts. just loosen belt, pivot pump to the right, and you can get at all 3 bolts easily.

the pivot bolt is 10mm shaft diamter. ( 17 mm hex wrench size of course ) the other bolts are 8mm ........very common thread : 8 X 1.25 metric. you can drive to the store without PS of course, just remove the PS pump belt. < but one should always have a support/backup vehicle in addtion to ones vanagon !~ )

I have numerous power steering pumps and 'all that'. if you want the exact correct bolts, I could supply those. the pivot bolt is a 'cap bolt' ........pretty sure .........that non-nut end is square below the 'cap top of the bolt' .......... to engage a square hole, so it the bolt won't turn when you tighten the nut. a regular hex head bolt might work though.
