just stopped by my local junkyard yesterday... and saw this firsthand. incoming lot was FILLED with rows of cars in perfect condition...with dealerships names and "C4C" written on the windshields... C4C = cash 4 clunkers all of them had had their motors intentionally siezed by the dealerships.. im serious...most of these cars looked freshly detailed...not a scratch...no body damage...new tires..new inspection stickers... even stuff like mazda minivans, toyota landcruisers...etc..etc.. nothing wring with them.. there was this ''89 crown vic... 56k original miles...showroom shape...looked like it was only driven on sundays by grandpa.. destined for the junkyard. seems like a major waste to me.
