I think VW uses ISO bubble flares.

That screen in the filler hole of the res comes out, just dig it out of there carefully. splices in brake lines are sort of an 'not really official repair. You can get away with it, but ultimately, it's not really a correct repair. and it depends on what type of splice. If you have a nice solid junction block and you have the right double flair, or whatever is exactly correct, that would be as good as stock. If using a single flair, or something 'less' .........maybe not so good. |
