Greetings everyone, I am about to have my windshield replaced and it occurred to me just how serious the water spots are on my other windows. It is as if they are etched into the glass (probably are, through some chemical process of which I'm unfamiliar). How might one go about polishing glass so as to remove those unsightly water spots. Could I use jeweler's rouge or something similar? Another cleaning chemical, possibly mildly acid based? Thoughts and comments appreciated. Warren in Santa Fe 88 Westy, Subie 2.2 p.s. I ordered my Cal-look windshield rubber from West Coast Metric based upon my experience with them from about 15 years ago. I received it and the rubber looks good, and I know it's a bit late to ask this question, but do you guys (non-gendered term) have any recent experience with their rubber products? |
