I did mine rear brake lines recently. Not hard. Wrote up a set of pages on it.

This is for an '81. Should be the same or very similar.

Bottom line: your FLAPS should have the correct length hard lines. Be certain that they are the correct flare, and thread. Make sure to soak connections at "T" at rear, and other connections, with penetrating fluid well in advance.
