so much stupidity. ( shoot, it's not Friday is it ? ) ok, real short then. so they ruin the engines there at the dealer .... then they tow the cars somewhere. = ? Wouldn't it consume less fuel, and reduce emissions, to drive the cars to the crusher, rather than tow them there ? sure seems so to me. Tow trucks are not known for low emissions or high fuel mileage.

This program increases the value of our older wonderful vans too. heck, all you have to do is go out to your westy some afternoon, and use it for a private hang-out space ....... which people can not do as well with their cars and SUV's , like you can with a westy. They're priceless, and getting more so as we go here. If there was a Westy-sensitive senator ... they could exclude Westy's and Weekenders from being eligible for the program, for the sake of preserving a truly great thing. Write your senator !
