Subject: Leak on 2.1 coolant line from pump--rubber coupling
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

I posted yesterday night that my 90 MV (that is for sale) started using coolant on the highway. I was alerted by the low coolant light and it never over heated but I expected the worst... Upon closer examination it is a hose leak.  This is the very short hose coupling between two steel pipes; one coming from the water pump and the other going into the passenger side water jacket of the engine. Anyone have any first hand experience replacing this short piece?   Will a new piece or part just slide on one side, then the other?  Doesn't look too bad once the belts are out of the way but suggestions to do it the easy way first are appreciated. Thanks, Chris C 90 MV Wisconsin
