Subject: 110v battery charger for house battery - suggestions for 88 Westy
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Little help here please. I have the 4 UB2220 12 volt batteries (22ah x 4=88ah) under the drivers seat. They have a float charger-battery maintainer, which does not charge fast enough (or even fully).

I want to be able to roll into a campground, plug in the 110 and get the batteries fully charged overnight. So I need some sort of smart charger that will bring the batteries up to charge quickly and then drop to a voltage that will maintain them.

Ideally it will fit into one of the lesser used cabinets, say the secret one besides the water tank, or fasten behind the sink plumbing.

Got any suggestions? Thanks for all the collective knowledge.

Thomas 88 Westy Ticcoified.
