Subject: size of bleeder screws and vacuum bleeders?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

What is the size of the bleeding screws on an 86 syncro?? I need to replace them all. I'm assuming almost any autopart store would have them.

I've finally found some time to reassemble the dash on my 86 (if you remember I was replacing my heater blower) The new blower unit is in the housing and I mounted the housing. I've replaced all the tiny bulbs, installed a new 12 volt outlet and replaced the radio antennae.

I'm waiting to put the dash in until I bleed the brakes since I put a new brake master cylinder in and to know I have strong brakes once again. My hesitation is I'm a bit wary of the brake servo ( i should have tested it before I took the dash out) Is there any way to test the servo in the state my dash is in?

Does anyone recommend a one person brake bleeder that I can operate by hand? Under $60. I have 6 vehicles and it would be nice to have something more user friendly than just a piece of plastic funnel that gets stuck in the bleeder screw attached to a tube and bottle.

Thank you, Andy
