Subject: Digital chargers... a problem?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I am just back from a weeklong journey that included a four day camp on the same spot. During those four days, the lighting, fridge fan, exhaust fan, stereo and other things took their toll and on day three the battery got so low that they clock stopped. I pulled out my "smart charger" and it kept clicking back to "check" instead of charging the battery. An electrician camped next door loaned me his analog charger and said that when those digital chargers don't sense any current coming from the battery, they can't charge it.

Any truth to that? If it is true I have found another item bound for the trash can.

Jim
