I never use a middle man, and agent. They are taking their cut. I deal directly, by phone or online with my car insurance company ..... and there are no fees for paying with a credit card online. I doubt they'd like cash in the mail, but a personal check works fine.

I would have to say it's basically 'non-constitutional' to charge extra for cash. 'as usual' .....it's probably buried in fine print deep within a contract or agreement you paid. I would just not deal with a company that does that, and if your agent was smart, he'd pay the 2 dollars out of his own pocket, and give you 10 more off for paying in cash.

I swear it takes conscious effort to not be driven insane by the severe decline in the quality of life, and basic respect ...... respect for our whole humanity and planet and ourselves. One way or another ,we can't let that stuff get to us, and it truly seems to be worse and more stupid all the time. I'm grateful for every non-crazy minute I've had, and those that happen currently.

I'd switch companies myself. And there's no real reason to pay an agent ........there's some reason, sure ..... but if you don't make a habit of making claims or having accidents. .........you can save a bundle by not having an agent and buy direct.
