Mark,
I will have a look later tonight and possibly take photos. Your scenario
could be very plausible as my alternator and battery saga has been going on
for 6 weeks now. My original problem was thought to be alternator killed my
battery. When I replaced the alternator, I don't believe the blue wire was
connected to my old one. So when I re-connected my new (reman) I know I
didn't connect a blue wire to DIDDLY SQUAT. The blue wire had no terminal
connector of any kind. It was "broke off".
Part 2 was a dead battery got replaced.
Part 3 is now the alternator is not charging the battery while in operation
in the vehicle.
We'll see.
I appreciate everyone's help. I am not loaning out my Bentley anymore.
