In the first week of June I drove from Miami to Portland and I saw less than
half a dozen Vanagons at that included Miguels. It's difficult to drive
through Portland without seeing one and not uncommon to see DoKas, SiKas and
other oddities.
On another note, on that same drive I saw less than half a dozen Sprinters
(one of which, near the Dalles, was a MEGA roof like mine and the only other
MEGA I've laid eyes on) and they're as numerous as Vanagons here too
(excluding DHL, FedEx and the like).
