Casio produces a phone that is waterproof, drop proof, and crush proof. I have it, and i've been "Testing It". It's called the Gzone.I used it as a weight for a bouy where it sat submerged in a lake for 4 days. I now know that it gets at least 4 days of battery life and still runs when wet. I will say that it is rather hard to talk on under water though. We've played a few intense games of "Hacky-Sack" with it as well. It's a very impressive product that holds up too all the abuse a Westy owner can throw at it. We've even frozen it in a block of ice for a day! -Craig '85GL turned WESTY BOSTIG in the back On Sat, Aug 8, 2009 at 10:42 AM, neil N <musomuso@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi all. > > Might have been droppage, campfire smoke, or beer stains, but my > trusty-old 9+ YO "peanut" Motorola phone, (RIP), finally died. > > Old meets new: > > http://tinyurl.com/nagtwf > > Being loath to invest in crap, 6000 apps, Mach3 Text Capabilities, or > a new uber-bloated plan, I researched online. $80+tax Cnd. later, I > climb the Gizmo Ladder to a Samsung R500. > > http://tinyurl.com/mp6drg > > It takes 1.3 MP pictures!
