So yesterday's 'where does the fuel line go' question was too easy. Here's another one for you all.... Folly is an '84 wasserboxer Adventurewagen. A few months back I replaced the dash with an '85 dash and instrument cluster. All works, and yet I have what should be a simple question. Having owned nothing but early Vanagons I do not know where 'normal' is on the later temperature gauge (digital clock/tach). On the early (analog clock) temp gauge, 'normal' is somewhere near the LED. I installed a tested 87 degree Waller thermostat and in 15 miles highway driving, the temperature gauge gets to just above the 1/4" white bar at the bottom of the gauge. Is this 'normal' for the later gauge? Jim |
