You already know that compression fittings are not safe for brake lines -- are you asking us to tell you "go anead and use them anyway?" Because we're not going to. As someone who's had an improper (copper, actually) brake line fail in my milk truck at the top of a hill I can say a) it's downright scary and b) suicide is in some sense your own business, but the health of your riders and of nearby people and property is definitely not.
