Austin, I believe, where I spend some of my Air Force years. Perhaps it's a Texas thing; if the kid survives the sheetmetal playpen, the snakes, tornadoes and armadillos then he grows up ornery enough to deserve adulthood. Not sure what part of Texas they live in, but I would be concerned about the interior temperatures in a closed up Van, (sorry Kid Bus) in that neck of the woods. I live in Southwest Louisiana and the outside temp is 96' F today. Got to be an oven in that "Bus". I just looked at the inside temp on mine, and it was 118' F, and I have both front windows cracked. Forget the Bus how about waste a kid! Not being mean, I'm sure mom is on the job. But it seems every year there are un-necessary tragedies' involving a closed up vehicle and kids all over the country. Makes you wonder what there thinking about! Howard |
