I have never had much luck servicing these (other than freeing up a stuck impeller) but if yours has fallen apart then you have completed the tricky first step. My recollection is that the impeller just goes on the motor shaft and the base piece completes the package. If your is in more pieces than that then I can't help. I'm thinking the bottom/base piece was glued, not just snapped on -- but it has been a long time.
