yes, and....... increasing oil pressure relief valve spring tension will not produce oil pressure where there isn't any, or make OP higher when the oil is very hot.

they only limit the upper oil pressure attained on a cold engine. checking that the pistons aren't stuck or sticky is a good thought for sure .
