Subject:      NVC -  collision damage on non-Vanagon -- some off-list advice
              needed

I wish this was a Friday folly, but my lady friend hit the back of an
old GMC Suburban with my 2002 Honda Accord and all the insurance
adjuster can say is "totaled" ($6800 estimated damage)  I am having car
towed to same body shop that did exterior restoration on my '84 Vanagon
to get another view. Any thoughts on how to deal with the issue?

BTW, the Suburban drove away with some scratches on its rear bumper
