Subject: blown brake line
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Pulled the Syncro out of the garage and made it about 5ft before I blew a steel brake line, seem it runs from under the right seat from a regulator and then many bends to work it's way to the middle and then it starts heading down the middle about 1/2 way down towards the rear and seems to hook up with another junction that seems to be hiding above on of the skid bars.

The $4,500 trade in is starting to look good now :)

Ok it's an 86, I know the lines are getting old.I assume since I installed the new master cylinder I actually have strong pressure now.

?I bought 60 inches of 3/16 steel line with the flared bubble ends , I realized the threads are american, hmm is this going to work? I'm guessing not and I need to get metric ends if I do decide to bend and replace the entire line. In all honesty I also bought 3/16 brass compression fittings (says not to use them on brake lines) and I'm thinking about cutting the bad spot, installing enough line with two compression fittings to get my by for awhile. Your thoughts?

Hey the heater fan works though!

Thanks, Andy
