Subject: Quickie Review on Tire Rack Aluminum Floor Jack
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

Benn Ogling at that $169 aluminum floor jack in the Tire Rack website? I bought one last June while I was there and I haven't been disappointed with it so far. Yes, it is made in China, but most of us use our jacks occasionally, not 10 hours a day. It's pluses are that it will get under really low vehicles(not a concern of Vanagon folk, but most of us own another vehicle for backup), it only weighs 50#, the handle is long, but comes apart into two pieces for travel. I intend to take it on long trips as the lift platform raises very quickly and the cheapo Larin jack I bought for this purpose doesn't cut it anymore. End of report.
