I have one of those also, from Harbor Freight. Had mine for about 6-7 years, originally bought and used it with my racecar at the track..and used it hard. Nice, especially for the price. Love the lightness of it. Mine is a bit touchy with the 'lowering' function. Turn the handle to lower the vehicle but it's difficult to control a 'very slow letdown' Can be done, but you must develop a 'touch' for it or else it sticks, sticks. sticks and then..."whoosh!" down she goes quickly. Also not quite up to the task of lifting the Vanagon's whole front or back like I did with my P-car racer...Again, can be done carefully, but it stresses the capacity of the jack a bit more than I like. Nice wheels under the jack, too and the handle makes a good 'cheater bar". Don Hanson
