I replaced the 1.9L in my '84 with a GoWesty engine at 220K. I went with their basic package which builds out the 1.9L as a 2.2L.

The installation was simple & trouble free and I have had no problems in the 20,000 since it went in.

On last month's 2,192 mile trip (AZ-UT-CO-NM-AZ) it got 22.19 mpg. I'm not compulsive about keeping track of mileage but I usually figure it on longer trips as it is one indicator of how the engine is doing.

Leaks nothing and uses no oil between changes. The power increase is noticeable -- not neck-snapping noticeable but decidedly better in mountain driving which is what we mostly do.
