Subject: Where'd dey all come from today? Bazillion vanagons around Mt
              Hood..
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

They were everywhere. I saw between 15-20 (didn't keep an accurate count) while out on my bicycle this morning on a 4hr ride from Hood River up to Mt Hood and back. I even circled around a very nice brown one, just like what mine *could* be if I spent less time on my bike and more time spiffing out the vanagon. Oregon plates, Patagonia sticker in the window, parked at Cooper Spur resort(my 'turnaround' on the bike) maybe 5 were Syncros, the rest 2wd Westies...Maybe 4 in the "Jeeze, I wish I had a new Crysler van instead" modality. Non-enthusiast owned....the rest with various toys festooning them...Kayaks, sailboards, mountain bikes, etc.. Pretty cool..I guess the Northwest US is really the Vanagon capitol of North America..today anyhow.
