Just replace it. Get one from one of the online vendors. Go Westy has them. Bus Depot has them to name a couple. You can probably get one from a local RV place where you live by taking the one you have to them. The new one will have long wires on it so you can cut the old one off at the wires outside the top of the tank. I replaced mine last summer.
