Okay, I guess I need to postpone my decision about my choice for a replacement engine for my 90 vanagon with 266k. It was rebuilt about 100k ago and is still running pretty good. Going to pull the throttle body and check the TPS today. It's got a few minor oil leaks and I need to be thinking about a replacement engine. I was waffling between a Subi 2.5 or the Bostig package. I suppose it would be wise to wait and see what Bostig's got behind door number 3. Not asking for any press leaks Jim but I sure am curious.
