*smacked my forehead with my palm* I'm sorry, Melissa, I had one of those moments where I wasn't thinking - you're right, the 84 had the chrome bumper with the strip, not the fiberglass bumper. I wonder if you may be able to fashion a fastener... but I don't have much experience with the earlier bumper. I'm sorry I replied so hastily, and hope you can get an alternative idea.
