So my question for you - Does anyone have experience with a good method? of keeping the oil/fluids off of the floor? I was looking at the foam? interlocking pads today but I doubt using a jack on those pads would be? a good idea.? I used two thin 4 X 8 sheets of luan paneling. ?The paneling absorbed the oil spills, did not interfere with using the floor jack or jack stands, and protected the floor when sliding the engine/trans under the van. ?Keep one of them there after you're done to catch the occasional drip that all VWs have.
