And there you have it, ladies and germs. I'm reckoning that this engine behavior raises listee (or listing) eyebrows mainly on account of not that large a proportion of folk deal with long descents. Much of North American is pretty flat. Long 20 to 30 minute 6-10% descents are relatively rare.
