Hey Pat.

I agree. Even if just for the fact that it's more resilient to the tank reseal/renew process. In fact thinking about it now, when installing tank, using a piece like that would make the install process easier too.

I was initially hesitant as I wasn't sure how brass would react with fuel/fuel vapours or if using a fuel hose is best. (it will deteriorate at some point.... way down the road) I'll bet the brass is just fine. IIRC, brass is/was used in carbs. And, since these tanks come out for a reseal, adding in another chunk of new hose is easy.
