Jeeze, a Westy with a blown motor is still worth a lot considering the swap possibilities. Problem is the vehicle must be crushed, not resold. I don't know why the PO didn't strip the camping stuff out before turning it in.

This just makes me sick!

Today is not the day (well no day would be good) for me to be seeing a Westy that will, or already has, had the engine destroyed and appears to be in decent shape.

I understand the idea of the program (and don't wish to start a debate) but like most things it seems it wasn't thought out completely and has caused a lot of waste.

Assuming that Westy ran decently - I really could have used that engine right about now.
