I find it amazing how I can lose something IN my van. I mean the whole vehicle only has about 60sq ft of floor space. Takes me a couple of days to re-adapt out on the road. I am always going..."Now where is my________? I just had it in my hands" It takes me about a week of camping before I can remember, too, that I'm quite able to adapt to most circumstances I'll encounter, regardless of whether I have the exact right thing I need..or not. You can never anticipate every possible situation and bring along just the right thing for it. After about a week on the road, I regain my sense of adventure and remember that part of the fun of traveling and camping is figuring out how to "Make-do" with whatever comes to hand. When I get bored and I can't find a book I haven't read in the van..I do something else. If my batteries go dead, I just turn in at dark and bump start the van to get home again..or something else..whatever ...It's better than being all pissed-off about "not having what you need".. Watching some of the RVers down in our winter area spend all day every day messing with their "stuff"...You'd think they would be better off staying home and messing with all that stuff there. Whatever your needs, you won't ever get it all just right..I go kinda simple..Not saying that is the only way to be happy, but it works for me. Don Hanson
