While my newly-fused ankle heals I am not permitted to do any
weight-bearing on one leg for the next several months. Nevertheless, Mrs
Squirrel and I would like to take a short camping trip this summer. Like,
next weekend.

My ankle blew out in May, and we've not been able to go camping at all
since moving here to Bend, Oregon last August. Heck -- I don't even know
if the drinking water system made it through this year's winter. I was
planning to get the van camping-ready in May. But life intruded.

So anyway, we're looking for recommendation for a pretty, quiet campground
within an hour or so of Bend. Near a lake or river, sufficiently developed
to provide ADA camping sites (concrete is miles easier to navigate on a
wheelchair than dirt or gravel). No hookups needed.

Next year, when I'm back up on both legs, we will seek out more of the
lovely remote and primitive CGs in and near this pretty state, but for now
easy does it.
