I'm doing one driveshaft at a time (driveway job, jack up one side at a atime). Hence I'll flip each CV inside out.

I took the driveshaft out and cleaned out the CV joints today. The inner CV joint shows more wear signs than the outer. (even tough the boot was torn on the outer). Should I also swap inner outer?

The new boot kit came with those fancy multipoint bolts. Anyone knows if Sears or Princess auto carry the right one? Is it a torx? Or what is the technical name I should ask for?

(I guess these new bolts should be more resistant to rounding out the head compared to the 6mm allen. The bad thing is that I'll have yet one more socket tip to carry around. (Otherwise the Diesel Westy only needs the 6mm Allen and a handful sockets to strip just about everything)
