I have the XZN tool off eBay and a SnapOn version. If you are just working on your van the eBay version is OK. It won't hold up to shop service or impact tools very well. The shank will get really sloppy where it connects to the end. The teeth on mine showed wear very quickly. I use a 1/4" Dewalt impact driver or a 1/4 air driven butterfly impact for CVs.

Triple Square is one name and XZN is the real name. Yes they have 12 points but the angle of the corners is different from normal 12 point bits. The XZN has sharper corners to resist rounding.

Here is the CV tool version, the longer thin shank helps clear the CV boot on the ones blocked by the angle of the CV axle.

M8 is the size needed and that means it is the size for bolts with M8 threads.
