Finally figured it out. It's the lead to the auxiliary air regulator. I figure I've been running without it since I bought the vehicle 5 years ago. Maybe now it will run in hot weather. After a third perusal of the wiring diagram in the bentley still showed no W/Y pairs I started looking for anything yellow. Closest match was BR/Y to the Aux Air reg. Did a little excavating to find it and there it was, the male match to my loose wires. Odd thing was, before I found the electrical connection I had performed the function test and it passed. Unable to see the electrical connection described in the Bentley I started pulling the intake system to see what was underneath and voila! Now to see if it affects my hot running (as in not running) issues. Thanks to all we replied. |
