:I have been off the list for a while as my 87 has been moth balled since :last simmer, thank you in advance! I have had much assistance over the :years! At the end of the summer last year after a 1200 mile trip my engine :started acting up. It starts well and warms up smoothly. As soon as it :gets warm, simply at idle it starts running really rough as if it is running :on only 2 or 3 cylinders. Also black smoke from the exhaust. It I try to :drive, or rev the engine, it will accelerate very poorly, missing terribly. :I have been searching the archives to no avail. Can anyone offer an idea at :to what is going on? I had similar symptoms last winter and suddenly very bad mileage. I naturally suspected the temp sensor, even changed it in freezing weather, and then found that the ECU ground wire near the A/C mount had broken at the connector. A new connector and back to normal.
