Ok.
Looking at main wiring diagram for "up to VIN G 055 689" starting at
relay in upper LH corner above fuses.....
3- coolant level control unit
5- rad cool fan relay 2nd stage
8- load reduction relay
10- intermitt. wash/wiper relay
11- rear window wash/wiper relay
12- emerg. flash/turn sig. relay
Sounds like relays you wrote of, and that Bentley indicates, are
present. But.....
YMMV. Bentley is very clear on pages showing relays that there are
variations and that one should be careful.
If it were me, I'd check each open relay socket see if power present
or switched. Then, I'd disconnect *all* batteries (if aux. battery(s)
present) and trace the wires back starting with a physical trace, then
confrim with my VOM. Pulling the instrument cluster would help in this
regard.
Do you have cruise control, power windows? Just a thought. (though a
quick look at Bentley and I don't see relays shown in the upper part
of page. i.e. fuse/relay panel)
Hopefully Jake or other actual owner can help. I really don't want to
lead you down a path that may be more complex than needed.
Neil.
