I'm waiting for all the responses to come flooding in. Don't see any yet.

temp sensor for the ECU comes to mind. I wonder if disconnecting the 02 sensor might help it , or reveal something.

if it clearly seems to be missing on a cylinder or two at idle.......you could do the ole pull on plug wire at a time, trying to find weak or dead cylinders.........to at least point you in a direction to work on. And I would always say 'check the basics' first. Including a nice careful visual inspection - like say, the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator could be off or broken.

also.........here's one I find regularly - the throttle switch at idle. Check that adjustment. I find lots of those not working right. Air and fuel filters are basically OK ? Scott www.turbovans.com
