Subject: Warm engine missing 87 Westy GL
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hey Everyone,

I have been off the list for a while as my 87 has been moth balled since last simmer, thank you in advance! I have had much assistance over the years! At the end of the summer last year after a 1200 mile trip my engine started acting up. It starts well and warms up smoothly. As soon as it gets warm, simply at idle it starts running really rough as if it is running on only 2 or 3 cylinders. Also black smoke from the exhaust. It I try to drive, or rev the engine, it will accelerate very poorly, missing terribly. I have been searching the archives to no avail. Can anyone offer an idea at to what is going on?

Thanks, Finn Runyon
